HI,
This may be a coincidence, but I upgraded my bike through the mission control app yesterday.
Now the only way I can power my bike on is by opening and closing the battery cover twice!!

The switch on the TCU turns it off ok, so I don't think its the switch!
I've reset the TCU to see if that helps, and made sure everything else is dry.

Anyone else had a similar experience!

Hello @SPECIALIZED can you confirm this has been tested !!!

Thanks
Phil

It's definitely been tested ! A group of members from here volunteered to beta test the upgrade software and firmware.

This sounds more like a hardware/connection issue if you have to physically open and close the battery cover. Have you removed the battery and checked everything is clean and sitting correctly ?

@Specialized Rider Care - maybe one for you, unusual symptoms.

Thanks for quick response...

I am worried that its a hardware or connection issue, but it is so consistent

  • bike is off
  • try tcu on button, nothing
  • open and close battery charger cover 1st time - nothing
  • open and close battery charger cover 2nd time - powers up every time.
  • tcu switch off works fine

I can repeat this over and over again!!

Bizarre !!

HI,
Looks like this could have been a coincidence!
I've cleaned and dried everything and now I see the lights flashing on the battery!

lights 1 and 3 flash, then 2 and 4 flash alternately . Any ideas what that might be?

When I straighten the cable harness it stops but doesn't turn on.

Is this a new cable needed?

Thanks
Phil

After my update the red and bottom blue come on for a minute then go off and repeat continually but no power loss ! The app says it speed censor but all clean ! Any thoughts ?
Motor works a dream with less noise also !
