Nyon map screen not showing distance to next intersection?

Not sure why but my Nyon’s map screen isn’t showing how far the next turn/intersection is anymore. In upper left corner it used to shows distance and direction of next turn. Suddenly not. Turn by turn directions is and has been enabled. Any ideas?

Just came across this post which may explain it Bosch Nyon importing GPX routes....

I have always planned routes on Komoot and you necessarily need waypoints to map a desired path from start to finish, but according to this post it seems something changed that breaks turn-by-turn on these sort of imports?
