Nukeproof Giga - maybe an inset into a future EMTB from them.

New Nukeproof Giga officially launched, though various rumours and pics have been circulating for a while.

Given the rumours of a forthcoming MegaWatt or GigaWatt EMTB coming from NP, the new Giga might give some inside into what we could expect - I for one would be excited if they came out with an EMTB version of the new Giga

I was watching that video thinking there's space for a battery and motor within that design. Lovely looking bike.

From what I been told they are coming and the bike shops are awaiting more information and stock. They are probably already made and being shipped

The Giga's suspension design came about as a result of development of Nukeproof's Dissent DH bike.
Shock mounting position has more to do with the current absolute must have design remit of fitting a waterbottle in the front triangle than any future bike that might need a battery ;)

I never thought it was made with emtb in mind, I was more thinking the layout of the rear suspension could work well with a mounted motor and battery. I seem to recall some companies needing to redsign quite a bit to fit a motor in, when you look at yeti's set up for example (then again they have never been afraid of starting from scratch).
