Hello all,

I received my new 2023 Turbo Levo Alloy Comp gen 3 yesterday, and I'm experiencing similar problems....

I charged it, went for my first ride yesterday, and after 12 km and less than 500m of elevation the bike died. I tried to turn it on, it showed "low battery" (one red bar), than displayed an error and turned off again. Tried to turn it on, it displayed a missing motor error and turned off.

I thought the battery maybe wasn't charged fully, charged it again, went for my second ride today, and again, after about 12 km and cca 500m of elevation, the same story all over again. Battery dead, error codes, won't turn on.

Mission control stated the following errors; The connection between the battery and TCU interrupted, The motor is either missing or not communicating correctly.

When I came home and pluged it in, the battery starts to charge the last green LED so it seems it was not empty. When I reconnect the bike it turns on and all looks good again, Mission control does not state any errors.

I sent an e-mail to my LBS but I'm afraid it could turn out to be a problem since when the bike is fully charged all looks good, only after 12km and 500m of elevation it dies :)

Does anyone know what could be the issue, any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanx and love to all

I have a 22 comp alloy which had a cracked charge port door. That was replaced with the new hinged version.

Now EVERYTIME after I charge and reinsert the plug I get nothing... I have to repeatedly press, wiggle, jam the plug to get it powered up. I'll get various error codes screwing with it. Fortunately, never has an issue when riding.

Took it to the specialized store and they said "must be a loose wire" I said then fix it. They balked. They can't definitely make that statement because it could be a wire or plug seating issue. Never have an issue with the charge plug.

I'm 9 months into the warranty so they will fix it eventually.

Hi all Ive just purchased a 2022 Levo comp, first time to go out on it today and it came up with error code on TCU, 1 red bar then Error code no.4 - Battery & Motor, the TCU has an issue with the temperature sensor in that if its below 6 degrees it comes up with the fault and can't start it,
I heated the TCU up with a heat gun and it started working, tried this a couple of times to make sure and its temperature related.
Ive used 2 hand warmers stuffed in the frame under the TCU for a short term fix as specialised Switzerland are working on fixing the issue at the moment.

I'm heading into the snow today...
Not sure if its all bikes that will have the issue but my friend has same model and developed the fault after 6months but his wife's bike has no issues and slightly older, bike been in cold garage all day and the hand warmers have solved the problem

100% this.

I have the exact same issue. I'm pretty good now at the two thumb press and wiggle 4 times to get the plug seated correctly.

My dealer replaced the plug and I was still getting the error. I had to really force the plug in order to get it to connect. The problem was actually with the connectors at the display. Sprayed them with contact cleaner and no longer have to force the cable back on down at the battery. I suggest starting at the computer first, as it’s 1 torx screw and 2 minutes to clean those contacts.
