Newbie with a decoy cf pro race

Hi, I have a 2020 decoy pro race eMTB. The bike is standard spec, with no mods. The chain broke recently. I have bought a replacement (Shimano CN-M8100), which ships with 126 links. What I’m hoping to confirm, please, is if I should remove any links from the chain (i.e. is the standard spec for the bike 126 links or something else)? Thank you.

The best thing is to measure it yourself on your bike, and you will most likely need to remove some links.
