Hi, just bought my first EMTB. Only arrived yesterday. Regarding the 25km speed limit, once this kicks in and stops the assist, does everyone else feel it feels like there is some resistance when trying to go after under your own power?

I don't know if I've described that very well. Haha

Hey, Alscott.
You've just discovered what it feels like to pedal a bike without a motor to help you. I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find plenty of people who insist their motor is broken because it doesn't feel like that when they pedal their Amish bike. What they fail to understand is that their Amish bike doesn't weigh 50 pounds and come equipped with grippy, slow rolling tires. What you describe is the same for everyone.

Haha thanks, I was just checking this is how they all feel. I know there is extra rolling resistance and weight, just seems amplified almost when you exceed the motor assist speed. Only had the bike 1 day and not had any big enough hits to test out faster speeds. Cheers
