Hello All. Just taken delivery of a new 2020 Turbo Levo HT. I know its specification is on the basic side, so it would be great to hear from the knowledgeable as to what I should go for first, second, third etc. I’m wondering if I would benefit from a 11 or 12 gearset, and many forums knock the front forks, then what about chain sets? Stick with 32T or go up to 36T. Questions questions!

I’ve got a Planet3 derestrictor on the way, and signed up for BLEvo, and I just love the ability to get further afield. Thanks in advance.

Out the box the only thing I would say is a dropper post. Sure the forks are pretty budget, but ride it a bit and see how you go. Same for the gears, ride em till they wear out then think about what to replace them with, big range cassette and more gears aren't really a must have on an EMTB, and the mid range group sets tend to me a lot harder wearing than the high end ones.

Maybe some pedals, surely you aren't running the stock pedals with reflectors? A little part of me died inside. 100% with what R120 said above.

Is the 2020 HT with 1.2 or 1.3 motor(70 NM versus 90 NM)?

I don't think you need the de-restrictor as this bike can be derestricted directly with Blevo. The 2019 model definitely can and I don't think the 2020 is different in the battery / motor area.

Other than that a fork upgrade will make a massive difference, the original forks are terrible and very heavy. My other half has a 2019 HT and when I upgraded the forks on my base model full sus I fitted my old forks to hers - the difference is significant.
