Bs bike is a spec epic 120mm. Yes the UK prices are insane in comparison to what we get them for.
I got a Large & it seems like a medium as far as the top tube seems low. It came with a bloody 130mm dropper - what were they thinking???? So I will prob save up & get a longer one. I'm fitting oneup carbon bars as they have got a good review re trail chatter fatigue & arm pump however I also now have to change the stem to 35mm from the standard 31.8mm
TBH I would go mucho suspension as it's a differtent game with a motor from having to struggle up hills on a chopper. I'd prob go the Heckler over the Kenovo. If you're gong to spend that much money you want the right sticker on the back window of your car.
Trouble is if you turn up with a coil shock at the tracks as Guy Richie says" you have to have the facilites to back that up big boy"o_O
From the sounds of it Spesh are looking after their customers finally.
Can you get Rocky mountains or Norcos up there?
Local old fella got a YT decoy down here - Tu meke but with only a 500 battery

I would have thought a Fork 140mm min for BGRW. He might have gone budget on it...;)
Bike I'm considering has a FOX 36 Factory E-Bike+ Air 160 mm. The other week I had a look online at the specs of the RM Altitude but because the motor is an RM proprietary I'm thinking spares and all that would could be an issue being in NZ. Would rather go more mainstream because of that, don't know much about Norcos, have read good things about the YT. Never heard of a Heckler will have a google. Battery I'm looking is also the 504 (biggest downside for me) but hopefully Shimano will do what Bosch have done with the powertube and come out with 600 hundy odd for the same amount of space in the frame. There is a plan b if I do get that bike so it's not killer. Booked to come down on the ferry your way at Christmas, bringing bikes down and heading towards the West Coast. I enjoyed stopping in Reefton (so want to have a better look around, Hokkitika, Greymouth given the benefit of time). Mainly want to do a few easy rides that I did on the TA - that I think L will enjoy on the ebike. I'll be riding an acoustic, taking Ma along too so she can do some driving/ meet us at some points and cut out some of boring bits in-between. Ma will be in the Audi, so thinking the power might corrupt.

Nelson - Spooners/Kohuta
Braburn to Murchison
Maria Saddle track
West Coast Wilderness trail

Weather permitting I'll ride the Maungatapu from Pelorus again, but use the ebike and L will fly directly into NEL international.

Must be time for some more research,

Cheers D.

Ha sounds like a good plan. Revisiting the tracks we used to ride on the motos. Funny as a lot of guys that had motos are now riding ebikes now as there's nowhere to ride them anymore.
We may be heading up to check out Hawkes Bay.
Def easier doing Maungatapu with the Ebike!
Yeah after riding a 625 battery I'd be hesitant to get a 500wh one. It's alright for the usual weekend warrior stuff but if you wanted to do a mission there would be a bit of range anxiety.

My new Levo H/A Large arrived this week in a S-box that was from Auckland. I am at the moment in Australia under lock and Dream Building this eBike..ah so satisfying...
I heard Rob talking 4 years warranty on the problematic motors.

Congrats on the new bike - How is the Levo build going.., maybe you have put some kms on it unless you are in a part of Oz that is under lockdown! 4 years warranty on the Brose motor, is awesome I reckon.
