New wheels for my 800e...??

I would get a wheel with steel freehub body. DT Swiss H1900 seems nice, or the H1700 if you want to spend more. You could also go H1900 (or 1700) rear and M1900 (or 1700) front to save 100gr. I would get the 35mm internal width version for 27.5x2.6 and 2.8 or possibly the 30mm internal for 27.5x2.5-2.6. I have been running a 29x2.4 front wheel for a few rides on a e168-800. Works fine, but need to use it more to decide what I prefer. I had to drop the handlebar a bit to get enough weight over the front wheel.

I can't find the eOne-Sixty 800e anywhere though. "e" usually is electronic shifting on the eOne emtbs. Sure it's not a eOne-Sixty 800?

I found the 35mm I'd rims 'rounded' the 2.8 tyres more than ideal, I moved to 40mm I'd rims (as per the 900e) and with the same tyres I found the bike gripped better, wollowed less and was faster, I think we are still learning about plus sized tyres.

Yeah I like to try the 2.6 tryes because I been riding the width for a while now... But 2.8 just seems littie overkill...bike is still new so need to get used to it first... So what people thoughts with the 40mm and 2.8 over the 35mm 2.6??

Personally, I prefer 2,6 over 2,8 and I found the 35mm perfect with 2,6.

I bought Crankbrothers Lithiums just for the looks :)

I do have Cobalt 3's installed in my 29" rigid MTB and I like those. Cannot recommend lithiums yet, though, since I haven't installed those yet. I swapped spiked tyres to original rims and planning to run with two sets of wheels from now on (one set for summer and the other for winter/icy season).

Seconded. My stock Shimano hub blew up, and I changed to H1700 Spline 35mm internal. I'm not one for upgrading wheels until they're broken, but my god, the performance difference was incredible. Handling felt so much more direct, particularly if you're doing cutties. Expensive but worth every penny. Also has a steel freehub.
Also the power uptake on the DT swiss spline hub is super smooth... there is less of a clunk when the motor powers up than you get on the pawl mechanism of the stock shimano hubs. Couldn't be happier!
If/when the front gives up, I'd probably go for a cheaper rim up front, because the loads are less.
