Hey Posvar,

I currently line in Southern NJ and my wife is hot to trot to move to Charlotte. We’ve been watching homes past few years (of course prices went nuts) but anyway we’re probably moving there this upcoming year. My question, how are the trails in close vicinity to Charlotte (not traveling out to Pisgah, etc) and are they allowing eMTB?? I thought NC area wasn’t too accepting of them, according to Seth of Berm Peak.

Hey Phil! Trails here are massively plentiful and ebike friendly. We have quite a diverse trail system here in the Charlotte metro with anything you can imagine. Then if you want big hits and the most fun run up to Kanuga and RockCreek for the best riding in western NC. Feel free to send me a Pm to talk further. Hope you can make it down. FYI, a normal weekly group ride for us is 8-10 ebikes. What a blast.

Yep! We have been looking for a small getaway place to buy in that area for a few years. If things calm down a bit we are in. 15 more years in Charlotte and we are headed to the mountains!
