So this came up in my socials feed. Thought it was both interesting and polarising.
Step-through, but trail-capable.
OK low-end spec. Will be interesting to see how it actually rides. Looks like the perfect bike for my wife!

I'm assuming there are serious design compromises that come with step-through frames. If not, I think every bike would have one, as they're objectively superior ergonomically. I'd absolutely love a step-through enduro bike, if such a thing is possible.

You'd have to assume there's a strength and leverage issue with a step-thru frame, surely?
With no top tube helping to buttress the downtube, the torsional forces would be far greater...hence I think this is a "mild off-roader" as opposed to a full trail bike. As for an Enduro version? I just don't know how that would be possible.
But maybe this is the future now.

When you can lower the dropper to get on. Why do you need step-thru ? If you struggle getting on or off with the dropper lowered. I'd suggest one of two things :

A) The bike is too big.
B) Should you really be buying an EMTB ? :ROFLMAO:

Ever need to put your foot down, but the ground slopes away and you can't do it without your crotch hitting the top tube? I have, and it means you topple downhill.

Just my opinion of course but this just cements Haibike as the maker of the ugliest Ebike frame designs.

🤮🤮🤮
Yeeeees but by the standards of your average Haibike it's a bit of a looker. Damn with faint praise etc.
