Hi Everyone….newbe here. Been riding road bikes my entire life but due to unrelenting pressure from my sons I purchased my first MTB in September and haven’t looked back. 2023 Orbea Rise M10….hey I am an old guy 70 and need a little extra help. Just clocked in a milestone today, 1000 miles on the trails in New England and having a blast. I have questions but will save those for another day.

Thanks for the welcome! The Orbea is a great ride, love the bike. I wanted something that was light and didn’t look to much like a clunky ebike. I did change a few things out. Felt the 180 disc brakes weren’t cutting it for steep tricky down hills, went with 203s, saddle was like riding on a brick, swapped that out for a volt with titanium rails and just ordered the EP801 controller with a display to replace the basic switch type. Couple newbe crashes broke the derailer hanger swapped that for a billet. Have a lot to learn on the shock set up. I would highly recommend the Orbea.
