As an FYI I have/will be deleting any pics of the bike put up in the thread before its released simply because the Forum has got into choppy waters with various brands on pre released pics, I hate to do it and quite often stuff goes under the radar, but the big brands tend to get all het up with us about these things if they clock them especially if they come from something only a dealer could have access too, so for the sake of the forum it has to be done.

if it’s on the internet it’s public domain? Regardless of source....

but hey ho. Is what it is. Sad world when the brands want to tease then don’t like it back at them....

Yes it’s not anything I take any pleasure in doing however the forum is a victim of its own success to some extent in that you would be amazed whose paying attention to/looking at what we say on here - it’s great because a lot of the brands are using the forum as a major source of feedback, and in the case of some brands actually engaging in the forum.

ideally we would like to be in a position where we have good relationships with various brands for the benefits of the members, some see the value others don’t give a sh!t, but it means striking a balance.

I posted something up earlier in the year of a soon to be released component and Rob got an email from the brand in question (not one he has any sort of relationship with) the same day, which demonstrates that if nothing else there are some lazy buggers at some of these brands with nothing better to do than hang about on here all day!

Well, I hope orbea is reading.

Teasing with a release date and graduated information only solidifies the frustration for those of us in a different time zone.....exactly how many hours until orbea actually give us some meaningful information?

It's 10 hours until the 23 rd for me, but the orbea dealer is an hours drive away and will probably be closed for a long weekend ( doesn't everyone get a public holiday for an obscure football game? ) . I have to decide if I head west to peer through a ( probably closed) shop window tomorrow vs head east for a better ride and read the details here.

Has anyone from here had a secret test ride?

...and I'm GUESSING that Rob drops a video on us Tommorow. Between him, the EMBN boys, and Sam's Bikes, ONE of them has had to have ridden it!

Whether you crave riding greater distances, reaching more epic locations, improving efficiency or increasing the frequency of your adventures, rise beyond expectations and discover the new standard in MTB.

More speed and more freedom in a revolutionary platform. Rise riders are willing to try new technologies and are attracted to a bike that offers an experience that is more physical than that offered by more powerful systems.

Rider Synergy Concept. A new riding experience that enhances the joy of traditional trail riding with smooth support that feels as natural and alive as your own body.

So to clarify if anyone still has doubts. That describes an assisted Bicycle, be it wind up elastic, electric or methane.

"that is more physical than that offered by more powerful systems." So as everyone suspects it in the lower power format rather than the Full Fat.

"that feels as natural and alive as your own body." This certainly isn't going to be for everyone :)

"Rise riders are willing to try new technologies" Something we've not seen before if it's "new" - which doesn't necessarily mean it's revolutionary, but it would be exciting if it's at least evolutionary.

I don't think I've seen any Viagra adverts ... Though maybe Aussie ones are different ??

"Does it feel a bit like Tasmania down there ? Part of you but not part of you, sort of doing it's own thing ? Get VIAGRA ! Make little Rocko feel as natural and alive as your own body. Remember, Root riders are willing to try new technologies. Give your Sheila something more physical than that offered by more powerful systems."
