Can you point me to the online article that graph came from please? I am interested to read how they tested, certainly the online reviews of the latest PW-X motor that are based solely on the rider experience indicate it is much improved over it’s predecessor at high cadence.View attachment 5672
No, they would still be ahead of Yamaha
That was the latest PD-X motor. Haibike has even admitted to it’s dealers how weak the PD-X is compared to their Bosch bikesCan you point me to the online article that graph came from please? Nothing, it’s all around a really good motorSo whats actually the problem with the cx performance motor?..... I'm still looking at what bike to get and alot still have the Bosch motor.
It's going to be my 1st ebike and just used for off road rides in the mountains and hill. I'll still have my full sus Transition for bombing down the really rough stuff.Nothing, it’s all around a really good motor
All the big emtb motor brands will work, but some will suit your needs/style better. Performance CX is isn't the most refined when it comes to power delivery at high assistance levels. It's quite eager to put out it's power, fun on flow trails, less fun on low speed technical trails. If you drop the assistance level it gets pretty easy to control. So whats actually the problem with the cx performance motor?..... I shall possibly maybe have an Orbea Wild with the shimano motor from my local bike shop, not the best looker but alot better tin the 2019 red/black colour scheme.... Just waiting to try one for a weekend.Main downside to the Bosch motor is weight and size. The way it has to be positioned in the frame means that Bosch equipped bikes tend to have longer chain stays, i believe it has a wider Q Factor than the other motors too.
A bit like your previous claim that Spec reinvested all it's profits in R&D I see you have yet to post any sources for any of these statements regarding the Yamaha motor. I therefore dug around and guess what - the graph comes from a BikerumourThat was the latest PD-X motor. Haibike has even admitted to it’s dealers how weak the PD-X is compared to their Bosch bikes
Trust me there is? (2020 bikes will have it)I was on the Bosch stand at the cycle show today, having a chat..... Towards the end I asked if there was a new motor coming out next year, to which he just replied "no".
That was certainly the feeling I got from talking to Whyte at the Cycle show.Trust me there is? (2020 bikes will have it)
