New Mondraker Crafty R poor brakes

Recently purchased a new crafty R , Every review i read about bike said the same about poor brakes.Have to agree!

What is best solution ? New pads?Or completely new brakes?hope v4 , Shimano etc?

It depends a little on the budget. I would just buy metallic pads. SRAM page says "All existing Code brake pads are compatible with DB8 brakes."

or then you can just buy Shimano XT/XTR/Saint or something little special like Hayes Dominion A4.

I've just put Code on the front and changed the rear pads to sintered- noisy but much better.Total cost $250 AUD
