So that´s the Underdog version. I see you updated the suspension, but did you ever ride it with the suspension it came with? If so, why did you feel the need to upgrade it?

yes, I rode it for a week or two with the original suspension.. the sensations are not bad.. but on my previous bike I had the top Fox (with a black bar and not kashima) and there is still a good difference in behavior. with these it was amazing

Ok, thank you.

The bike looks really good. When I first saw it I thought it looked ugly with that downtube but seeing it from different angles makes it look much better than on the Canyon pictures.

Did you upgrade anything else? How do you like the DB8 brakes?

I might get the Underdog version as well and maybe swap to XT brakes, from my Canyon Dude fatbike, if I don´t like the DB8`s.

The brakes, I still only changed the front one, I also changed the front disc to a Galfer Shark. Soon, when I do the 1st major overhaul, I will also change the rear one, as it is necessary to disassemble the entire bike to change the rear brake.. the DB8s do not look good on the bike nor are they very good when they warm up. I like the XTs

Can´t you just leave the brake-lines and swap out the lever and caliper? After flushing the brake-lines of course.

It astounds me why manufacturers keep putting on mediocre to utter pants brakes on Ebikes. Especially as they are paying trade prices for them and buying in bulk.
How many 3 or 4 grand ebikes have we seen with shimano m200 fitted ? Should be XT as a starting point at that outlay.
