the only other thing you need is in the last post in this thread, also some grease and you will need something to cut the stem to size (measure twice, cut once ) much better (couldn’t be any worse!)

Turbo Levo HT 29 fork swap problems

Just in the process of changing the stock Suntour forks (which have a 1 1/8" steerer and a reducer fitted) for a set of Rockshox 35 (which has a proper tapered steerer - 1 1/8" to 1 1/2"). However, using the original bearings (only 2 months old), I can't get the headset play right; either too...

...Im not going to jump on that and call you a smo...( stop it now) ...
What I will say though is that you are on the doorstep of some great riding on the NYM..and Guisborough ain't too far away ( I havent ridden there yet ) ..
