Traveling a lot, so I am often in America and Asia.

I tried a (non-electric) MTB yesterday, and I am hooked. And I want to go straight into E-MTB as Switzerland is quite hilly anyway (most of the place, anyway).

Some countries don't welcome electric bikes, and in a few, it's even forbidden. As I frequent one of those countries, I am looking to have an E-MTB there which looks as non-electric as possible. Many people still drive electric bikes there, and the police will turn the head away but ... I'd rather lay as low as possible.

Considering Specialized Levo, SL or Turbo or .... well, tell me? The Specialized motor doesn't sound of much, and the Levo series seems to look quite a bit like conventional MTBs.

Levo SL is pretty normal looking. Consider how the bike pedals with the motor off as well if you plan to ride it some places like that. For my Levo Comp it's pretty awful. Maybe one of the Fauza powered bikes where you could remove the motor and battery in a couple of minutes where needed?

The reasons I went with the 2020 Turbo Levo Comp were:
You have to drop the motor to take out the Turbo SL battery. That was a minus for me because I do not want to bring my bike in during the winter for charging. If you plan to take you bike by air when you travel, the battery must be removed.
I really like the Turbo SL concept. Great motor, but not as powerful for climbing steep hills near me as the Turbo Levo Comp with 700 WH battery.

The Turbo SL looks less like an ebike. That and the design of the Quiet motor would be the most stealthy of the two.

Good luck, and be certain, whichever bike you chose will be far more fun in the hills of Switzerland than a non-ebike.
