Transalpes have announced their EMTB with this system. 30nm, 220w. 250wh battery and will be a range extender :

The controller is nice and discrete, yet you'll be able to tell when you've used it/touched it.

There's also a top tube panel with power on/off and additional mode changes/battery information.

I believe the motor/bb and battery weigh in at 3.5kg's and the 250wh range extender should be 1.2kg's.
