But certainly not new to mountain biking. Started mountain biking on a Trek Y33 in the mid-90's, but 3 years ago I built a mid-drive, 2003, Santa Cruz Bullit with a Bafang BBSHD. I've ridden the wheels off that bike on our local trails, and to my surprise it worked really well. I've worked part time at a local bike shop aside from my normal career since 2004.
Last week I received a Trek Rail 7 from the 2022 leftover stock. The shop has a demo 2021 Rail 7 that hooked me...LOL! I've already done a few mods to it, but I have a Marz Z1 coil fork and Fox DHX2 coil shock coming for it. Love the Rail, and it's 29'er wheels are a not surprising improvement over my Bullit. So let the fun begin.
