New Heckler MX Build

2021 Heckler MX. Wanted to do it right…. Heavy boy build Started as “S” build; purchased from Backcountry. Installed ride wrap; nice kit. Then pulled the rear shock snd fork…. Replaced the rear shock with Super Deluxe Ultimate. Original Heckler tune and mounting hardware. Sourced with the help of a friend in Germany from Bike24. 150mm travel rear. Zeb Ultimate; dropped to 150mm travel. GX AXS drivetrain. Original wheels with CC Pro in rear and XC in front. One Up dropper set to 160. Deity Deftrap pedals and Knuckledusters. Fidlock bottle. Slab Grey SLIK frame decals. All else as from the factory. Two rides thus far. I absolutely love it!!

VERY cool build. My own Heckler, which started off life as an MX, has nearly 400 miles on her. I'm getting everything pretty close to the way I want it. At first I thought a 45 pound mid-travel bike would be like putting wheels on Rosie O'Donnell and trying to whip her around on the trail, but she's turning out to be a VERY capable ride.

Very nice bike and Upgrades. I totally love the look of the grey Zeb Ultimate. I‘m thinking about to replace the Yari on my Heckler R with that one, as here in Germany the Zeb Ultimate comes at a very good price compared to Fox 36 or 38 Factory forks.
