New Giant Bike, What Comes With It?

I am in Canada and it might be a legal requirement but last July my 2020 Giant Stance E came with flat pedals, reflector front and rear and a bell. A few years ago there would have been no bell. It has a minimalist display with a few lights to show energy available and assist mode selected. I kind of like that, no distraction and very unlikely to be damaged in a fall.
I also have a 2020 Canadian Stance-e. It did not come with pedals, reflectors, or any type of manual. Bike store I bought it from no longer answers emails... I tried to order a replacement motor guard from them over a year ago.... Nada.

The not answering is common in the province of Quebec, i read about the phone, for me i tried to contact my LBS via their FaceBook page it is just crazy demand with limited supply. Some people have not received bikes ordered 11 months ago, some saw the delivery date pushed back twice. I think at the bottom of Giant website there is a link for the online manual.

Just got a new Giant Stance, first ebike, curious what is supposed to come with the bike? I bought the bike off of Giants website, had it shipped to a local dealer for pick up. lets say the joy of getting a new bike was tempered by picking it up at a shop that didn't seem very happy about the transaction. No "congratulations," no "any questions on the bike?," no instructions on operation, other than "this is the on off switch," just "sign here, thanks," (they were nice enough to hold the door open when I left with the bike). Other than the charger, I got nothing. I asked for an owners manual, they gave me a manual from 2011 ( great instructions on how to adjust rim brakes...).
I emailed Giant, still waiting on a reply.
So, if you bought a Giant ebike recently, what accessories were supplied with your bike?

I bought my E Reign last summer. You got the essentials (battery charger with charger adapter to charge the battery off the bike)., go to the Giant website and download the manuals. Make sure to download the new software and make sure the shop turns on your battery from hibernation mode. The things I got that you've requested from Giant is the manuals on the forks etc... Nothing you really need. Everything I learned was from EMBN and YouTube research on the bike.
Essentials, look at Yamaha motor reviews PW2 (eg best cadence to optimize motor is 80-85rpm), for what to know about your power source. Look at reviews online about the control system and how to use it. I ride my bike as close to a regular bike as possible meaning I use eco (fist 2 modes) a lot. You have 5 power modes think of them as 5 front derailleur gears that you'll use a lot. The drivetrain is for finetuning your cadence. Auto mode is a personal preference (I never use it the power is unpredictable) but some people like it so try it. it does use up battery life pretty fast.
Ride it a lot and ride it hard, the suspension is fantastic and get to know the power modes. I look at the modes as eco compensates for the additional weight plus a 5 yr boost for your legs. #2 10 yrs off your legs ect... I rarely use #5 except for the hardest climbs and when I do WOW it gets me where I'd never be able to go otherwise, its sooo much fun, I generally switch out of it asap to conserve battery life. Pick a trail you know and top off the battery then ride it the way you would normally ride it until you run out of battery. Mark it so you know how far give or take you can go on one full charge. Battery management is a part of EMTB unless you go for rides under 2 hrs. then there's no worries your bikes battery is sufficient.
One lst thing, buy some gear from your bike shop and establish this is where I'll be getting all me needs taken care of. They missed on the profit from your sale. assure them they'll be getting all my business or most of it atleast.

That doesn't sound great, I'd expect to get a manual as a minimum.
You need to be fair though, why on earth would a bike shop that sells Giants be happy about you using them as a drop service? Could you not have ordered it through them? Maybe not, bikes are like bloody gold dust at the moment. But if that's the case, can you imagine being the dealer in this scenario:

Giant UK: Sorry LBS, don't have any bikes for you at the moment, things are pretty tough from the supply side.
LBS: OK, but we really need that income to keep the business going, let us know when the next shipment comes in.
Giant UK: No problem. Hey, we've just sold a bike on our website though. We'll ship it to you, you can PDI it and look after the buyer, OK?
LBS: Er, what now?
Mines a pickup. GIANT don't send it to them, it's available in their shop and GIANT send you to them to pick it up off them
