new chain and cassette recommendations for trek rail 12 speed sram gx axs

hello everyone ive just ordered the new sram gx axs upgrade kit and just checked my chain wear and its 0.1 so am thinking i need a new chain and 12 speed xd cassette any recomendations would be great thanks dan.

It’s just my opinion, but the GX set up is about as good for the money as it gets. Had Gx went XO1 and couldn’t tell a bit of difference. Except in my wallet.

Yep! Shimano XT Cassette and chain on AXS mech work great.

If you use this Sram/Shimano drivetrain hack, you may want to change the guide (lower jockey) wheel.

That was the thing I noticed when I first tried this hack. I thought it was too smooth and too quiet. Now I find this setup too reliable. I never have to adjust the indexing and chains last longer.
