@cappuccino34 runs one I think. Or used to.
Tru dat.

Absolutely love it apart from one small thing, the lower motor cover is just a shitty plastic thing that just breaks. They're cheap as chips but I'd rather not have to keep replacing it and, because of that, I'm actually getting a proper mould made to have some composite ones done. I'm having them made deeper as well, to better protect the chainwheel and, for my own bike, I'm having a woven Kevlar/Carbon mix because it will be tougher than just carbon. (And look better hopefully).
From new I wasn't happy with the speed sensor magnet setup on a spoke so I've moved it to the disk (using a Shimano sensor). That's just a preference thing. I've done the same with another one of my bikes as well.

Polini do an optional button assembly that goes below the bars as well. They're absolutely brilliant once you get the ergonomics right for you. No need to take your thumb from behind the bar to change the mode so there's no chance of a front wheel knock whipping the bar out of your hand whilst it's 'open'.

My bike has the EXT suspension with a coil rear shock, and I wouldn't have it any other way now I've used EXT.

For perspective, in my fleet of bikes for comparison to the Mula I've also got a Spesh KSL, an LSL, a Lapierre GLP2, a Giant Trance E+0 and a Pivot Trail 429 (poverty bike).

Nothing with a Shitmano motor. Nothing with a shit warranty so that’s Giant, Cube and Haibike out for sure. What’s Orbea’s warranty like? The Wild kind of peaks my interest.
I've got the haibike nduro 7 had it 8 months now had no issues at all with it, got same warranty back up as specialized from race co cycles after owning 2 kenevos and a gen3 levo I simply wouldn't go back to a spesh now I've ridden it, just fantastic value for money 😉

You really haven’t. Raceco are excellent but even they will be stopped by some of the Haibike warranty terms.

They have spare motors batteries ready to replace if anything goes wrong, just can't fault them for performance and price😃

The motors/batteries are covered by the respective motor/battery manufacturers, not the bike brand.
Sometimes.

Had a broken crankshaft in an EP8 and Shimano flat refused to honour the warranty because the bike had E13 cranks fitted, not Shimano cranks. However, because they were the cranks originally supplied on the bike, the bike manufacturer (Thok) stood on and supplied a new motor, which came with a brand new set of E13 cranks in the box.

Well with 48% of the vote, I went with the Custom Orbea Wild M Team 24 model year (so effectively a build slot)
Awaiting to hear what the spec will be and final costs.
Should know more in September when the slot opens etc.
I'm glad I went in to the shop up in Daventry as I was going to break something if i continued to try and use their website as even the shop had trouble and needed to call their customer department. Apparently all sold out of 23 models other than the ones pre booked build slots, so no custom options.

Have you considered the new bosh Commencals ? Might mean a short European trip to pick it up but I think they look pretty fine …

Not considering anything that doesn't have local or easily obtained support, otherwise I would have gone with the crestline

Only other one I’ve been considering are the bosh Mondrakers - local support here in Surrey aswell
I loved my Foxy but the damned thing was cursed! Constantly replacing components lol.
One of my riding buddies has one and it looks fantastic but it creaks like a goodun!

Ooh they look nice 😊

Going to Andorra next year too and our hotel is right opposite Commencal HQ. Might see if they do test rides

I don’t need another emtb though 😆

Are you saying you do ??

Needs v wants 😉

I’m always looking, especially now that prices are plummeting

Would quite like a long travel full fat that weighs in around the 22-23kg mark. Haven’t found one yet though 😆 (Just for some local trails that have a bloody steep climb and a chunky down)

When the Gen 4 Kenevo is released I’ll keep an eye on the price reductions on the Gen 3’s

Quite like the look of the Propain Ekano 2 too

Trust me, there is 100% no Gen4 Kenevo ! Nor will there be a Gen3 Kenevo ! You can get the Gen2 weight down to what you want with Single Crowns though if you don't go too silly on the tyres.

There is a Gen4 Levo, which is different and some interesting ... uhm .... can't say .. but it should tick your boxes.

Maybe a Bosch SX will fill the gap you want to cross ...

So yeah I’m getting my Gens mixed up, so the current Kenevo is only Gen 2 ? I don’t really follow the Specialised models, just fancy picking up a bargain when the next model is released (but you think the Kenevo has had its day ?)
