I am enjoying my new Merida...even if it is last years model.
I enjoy that I got such a bargain. And in no small part, I love my external battery....
It's so simple to unmount, take indoors, store in a temp controlled environment, and charge it in a controlled and best practice way...
Ace! :coffee:

Not sure whether price is competitive for Al framed (LTD edition) bikes.
Just checked e160 Aussie stock: RRP of $6699 gives you internal battery, RS 35 Gold fork, RS Super Deluxe shock, SLX drivetrain, MT-500 brakes, Merida Comp wheels.

In November I paid $200 less for external battery, Fox 36 Factory Grip2 fork, Fox X2 shock, XT drivetrain, Shimano Saints 4 pistons, DT Swiss wheels and Di2 shifter.

And same as Beatn1K I love my external battery for the same reasons plus with battery removed it makes loading/unloading bike into car a little bit easier for me. Had bike with non-removable internal battery before - external battery is far more practical to worry about aesthetics.
