What’s the long and short of the 2.2 motor reliability? Are they holding up or are the same issues there?
What if you are a meth head that pedals like a pot head? Asking for a friend. ??I think it’s simply what the motor can handle and heat. Of course if you ride it like a dirt bike it’ll be harder on the motor. If you pedal like a meth head I’m sure it’ll last forever.
Fact is, If your fitness isn’t to where 240w is enough then for sure your fitness isn’t enough for killer down hill riding. On all of my bikes I get more winded on the downs than I do on the ups simply because I can moderate going up where when I’m on the downs I need to give everything. If you’re not doing kicker riding then why pay for a bike with all that travel?!? ??![]()
Ahhhh...that's the rub for me. I would much prefer a hard tail but there is no hard tail that I have found with the motor I want. I found a good hard tail but there was no way to get one shipped to AK and if I had there would be little or no local support so I look at the best from Spec or Trek (only local dealers) and if I bite the expensive bullet will end up with a full suspension bike in spite of no need for rear suspension. If you’re not doing kicker riding then why pay for a bike with all that travel?!? ??![]()
