This has happened twice times now after a pedal strike. Which I do my best to avoid but not always possible when pedaling out on rough trails. But basically bike goes into neutral where pedaling forward basically free-wheel’s. After a power reset things seem to come back.
has anyone else experienced? What is happening?

none very hard, not enough for me to lose footing or leave the bike. never broken any other hardware either (pedal, crank arm, etc)

hmm, when its happened to me its enough to pitch me into the air :D which is understandable. normal strikes, no it doesnt happen. is there any crap stopping your battery connection making properly?

no battery seems fine and without electricity I would still expect the bike to pedal manually, this is full on freewheeling where the pedals/cranks turn but the chainring does not.
