I'm getting ready for next weekend's ride. I picked up some nice clothing at Cycorld, and now I'm missing a pair of proper riding shoes, Please recommend where to buy and have it delivered within a week
You forgot to tell use what pedals you're running. If you're going clipless, then I'm a big fan of the Shimano SH-ME7. I've been wearing them for years, but my current pair is 2021. The ratchet system is the bomb. It allows minute adjustments, and the mechanism sits higher on the shoe than other manufacturers. There's a gaiter that keeps out the dirt. They also make a taller version for those who ride in wetter environments. Amazon is the logical source.
If you're running flats... well... I'm currently rockin' Five Ten Trailcross. They're ok... light and casual. They're not bad. I'm intrigued by the new Shimano SH-GR-903, but don't see them for sale anywhere. They might not have hit the streets yet.
