Hey peeps

Am new to the ebike scene and was just wondering what bike would suit my riding

at the moment am riding a yeti SB6C, have tried the focus jam was little under travel on the grade 4 to 5 tracks here in NZ

so i been looking at the merida eone sixty 800e or the focus sam2 or levo or the gaint pro 1+

going to try a trek powder fly LT this weekend

just looking for feedback what people think of the bikes above and the riding i do is quite aggressive enduro but like to explore as well

thanks :)

Fellow kiwi here.. Not sure of the availability or pricing but maybe take a look at the cube stereo hybrid 160.. Which has 170 on the the front 160 rear and and is close to $1000 bucks cheaper than most of the competition.. At a similar spec level.. I'm UK based btw

@lookieuk Have you considered a Thok? Thok E-Bikes AU
Only 140r/150f but I think they can be made to work with 150r/160f.
Also the rear suspension is progressive so it will feel like you have more than 140mm travel.
I'm going to test ride one this week hopefully.

Thanks for the link... Thok looks nice... Not completely sold where the battery is but has nice kit on it... Where what the price will be?.. And where you test Riding one mate??

You won’t get as much bang for buck out of the Levo, but the motor is so dam nice.
Test ride everything you can.

you can get Commencal in NZ I think? Worth a look for the riding you want to do, 29'r option as well if that's your thing

I'm in Brisbane, Australia and the distributor in just down the road from me. (about 30kms) so hoping to test one this week. I noticed the NZ site hasn't got any prices yet as well. But at $7,200 for the Mig-R makes it about $7,600NZ plus shipping.

The Yari fork is ok. It's the Lyrik without the Charger 2 damper. You can get a lyrik damper for $415AU and fit it yourself.
