In another thread it was mentioned that there is bad bikes out there.
So apart from the obvious Chinese junk, supermarket bikes etc, name a reputable bike manufacturer's bike that is bad.
Then expand on why in your opinion it's bad.
In my own experience I have owned a number of new Giant, Avanti, Merida and now Trek bikes, all have preformed as per their design brief.
The only real problems I have ever experienced is wheel/hub failures but in the bikes defense, I weigh over 100kgs and take the bike places they were not really designed for.
I have upgraded the wheels and suspension on my last 2 bikes, along with a couple of other bikes in the past.
Obviously bikes are built to a price, lower price, lower spec componentry, doesn't make it a bad bike.
So I'm interested in specifics of not getting what you believed you paid for and it has failed, followed by dealer support to fix or not fix it.
