2022 Rise H30 (new 1 month) Chose this for lightness. The lower 60nm power works fine for me, I still like to feel the pedals and work a bit. Modified to a Lyric 170mm up front, Rock Shox 210x60 rear, Atlas 200mm with Blackspire 35x35, DHF 2.5front, Dissector 2.4 rear, 203 rotor up front. I ride a lot of steep and technical (back off the seat most of the time) ... need to be able to wheelie drop on command if exiting a high skinny early ... experimenting with the 35x35 reversed so I can manual and wheelie drop easily ... so far so good, can still weight the front end easily enough when cornering at speed, overall feel is responsive and agile. Just my style I guess, prefer more upright perhaps because come from motoX in my early days

Update ... now considering the Vivid 216x63, more plush, added travel, and help to balance front and rear, for the most part I only climb fire roads so should be okay on the up

I'm in Almeria, lots of desert here, gravel, small rocks and the odd bit of sand. so far done plenty of climbing and im finding the stock tyres perfectly fine, also i dont ride crazy downhills so no need (yet) to change the suspension as its suiting me. I've changed to profile 2 for my riding as it's roasting hot here at the moment so its nice to be able to hit boost at certain times .

Have you gone into the app settings? Good idea to check it our if not. Your boost may be set at default 47nm, not 60 ... not sure how they are sending them out of the factory now

haha yes, I changed mine to Gell with cut out ... stock just hurts!
The seat is definitely Marmite; some like it, others hate it. I've done 600 miles so far and usually ride 4hrs or more with some rough trails and find it fine.

Profile 2 gives the 60nm on boost.

yeah I'm on the 60nm boost, it gives me plenty to get up some pretty steep, gravelly tracks. V pleased with my choice to be honest, love that it handles like a non assisted MTB and amazed with the range i'm getting...did a 72km ride with 1500m climbing and still had 40% left

I'll be honest, reverse stem and orbea rise for steep tech is kinda wtf.
I think you are in the wrong bike your your chosen style.

You should be looking ar slacker hta, shoter reach stem the right way around and a more robust enduro frame. If you are wheelie dropping high skinnies you will break the rise. Its built for light trail not heavy tech.

All good, thanks for feedback , just experimenting. Skinnies are not really all that high, 5’ max, and only now and then if I error off the side, I can manage that height on my hard tail well enough to land softly without damaging bike or myself. I’ve put on a 35mm now, not reverse, feels okay
