My First Trek eMTB Build – Bafang 750W & 20Ah Battery

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share my first eMTB project, a Trek that I converted with a Bafang 750W motor and a 20Ah battery. I’m really proud of how it turned out, and it’s been a fantastic bike for both trails and commuting.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the build:

• Base Bike: Trek
• Motor: Bafang 750W mid-drive
• Battery: 20Ah, which gives me excellent range
• Tires: Maxxis for grip and durability

Now I’m planning my next build and would love some advice, especially on:

1. Batteries: Recommendations for high-quality, long-lasting batteries with good performance.
2. Brake Sensors: I helped a friend with another build, and we had a hard time getting the brake sensors to align properly. Any tips for better installation?

I’m also working on an electric bike project, so I’ll probably be around the forum a lot. Looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing more builds in the future!
