Hello All,
I have a Stance E2 and my ride is usually steep up our mountain behind our house and same route back down. Heres the thing. When I try to shoot down the trail it seems the motor is holding me back. So I turn it off and it still doesnt want me to pedal faster.
Will I hurt the motor having it turned off going downhill?
Eager to hear your advise.
Thank you,
Thomas

Hmmm...
I'm no ebike tech, and I have the same bike. I'm under the impression that turning the motor off will do absolutely no harm to the system. I believe it's designed to be a regular (but heavier) bike with the motor turned off and/or battery removed.

No need to turn it off while going downhill (non peddling) or coasting. It's not drawing any current or creating and resistance.

Thomas is saying he wants to pedal faster not coast.
