Are they all 2 year warranties?

It appears this is the Fazua warranty:
"FAZUA provides a 24-month manufacturer's warranty on your FAZUA Drive System. The FAZUA ENERGY 430 battery must still have 60% of its capacity after 500 charging cycles (maximum 24 months). The warranty is valid for the Rider, we calculate the warranty period from the date of sale at the dealer (invoice date)."

It seems the Giant/Yamaha is 2 years, but not sure about cycles.
I thought I read the Specialized is 2 years/300 cycles, whichever comes first, but I'm not sure if that has changed.

note also who actually provides the warranty for motors and batteries etc ........in most cases it is not the bike brand ( Specialized is one exception).

That's a good point. I'm interested in the Giant Elite and looked up Yamaha. Their motor in their bike is warrantied for 3 years, but I'm guessing 2 in a Giant. And I thought I saw 500 cycles. Also lifetime for frame.

If you want the fine print on giant, it's shit - 2 years but ONLY for original owner. Not transferable and not a rolling warranty - eg if the motor dies at day 1 and the bike sits in the shop for 2 years, there is no warranty when you finally get it fixed 1 day out of your 2 year warranty. Absurd example, but eg when I got a new motor 2 weeks before the end of my warranty, that motor effectively had no warranty. Zero warranty if you sell the bike second hand - even if it's just a few days old.

NB giant has different warranty to yamaha - giant changes the engine tune, so have agreed to do their own warranty

Some other brands ( eg specialized) offer transferable AND rolling warranty. So , for example, when I bought my levo sl second hand it was 12 months old, the remaining 12 months warranty was honoured . When the motor was replaced 2 weeks before the 2 year warranty ran out, I got rolling cover on the new one - ie a further 2 years. Which was great, because we butchered the shaft and I scored my third motor a month later. Exceptional customer support, and the parts were replaced within 1/2 weeks. ( there was a brief discussion about an error code , but they accepted the truth that the bike had never beed derestricted)

re frame warranty - I think all the manufacturers who claim a " lifetime" warranty only offer that for the original owner. Specialized drop it back to 2 years with second hand bikes. " lifetime" is the expected life of the bike, NOT your lifetime. Don't expect easy claims on frames - it's amazing what they interpret to be trail damage.
