Morzine First Time Trip from the UK - Would anyone want to join?

Hello Fellow EMTB

I'm thinking of driving to Morzine 24th July for a few nights, I've never been and will be going on my own, but wondered if anyone would like to join me and explore the region? Could be fun?

Experience wise, I'm a Shredder, not in to Jumps or Freeriding, happy at places such as Coed Y, Degla (Blacks), FOD, Stinog, Peaks, Winlatter, BPW & the Lakes. Riding an Levo.

Id say i'm cautious, but let go when I have pre ridden, I describe this as its hard to meet up with groups if they are in to Jumps etc.

Me? 43 Yo Male, very normal, dont smoke, but enjoy the odd drink, fell in to the 40 Y/o trap of losing friends because of a relationship, hence I'm lone traveller. Always wanted to go thought it would be more fun if I knew people there?

I'm driving down there this Thursday (7th) and will be there for a week or so before making my way down through the alps to Finale Ligure.
I will probably head back to Morzine on my way back but I think this will be into August so your dates probably won't work out for me, but if anything changes and I head up sooner I'll let you know. I'll also be on my own for most of my trip.

There's so many like minded people about I'm sure you'll end up meeting others over there anyway.

I'm pretty familiar with Morzine and the PDS area so if you want any advice on trails let me know!

Thanks Yorkshire 89, appreciated ! I was thinking of going down Wk Comm 10th but I'm informed its the Tour De France in that region and its packed with little to no hotels available in the region that week. I've got some work commitments the week after, hence choosing the wk before Aug as I believe the Europeans holiday in Aug and its gets very busy.
