Clearly to be able to tow a full power emtb is the best option. So what factors make one more nimble than another? Rather than absolute weight it is more about keeping the centre of balance low and that means the bike dies not feel top heavy when leaning the bike over for turns etc. Then to have a bike quick to turn on twisty tight single track a bike with shorter overall wheelbase and shorter chainstays together with steeper steering will deliver that. Probably also a mullet rather than full 29er. Finally a smaller rather than larger bike size. Most of those criteria make for a pretty nimble trail bike but one far less capable for full on enduro type riding.
