#1 for me is a bike owner security key. I don’t think it would be at all difficult for specialized embed a software key that once activated would immobilize the crank until it is unlocked with an embedded code on authorized smart phones. There could be problems with being away from charging opportunities. So as a fall back security measure, the motor would not energize unless a smartphone with the required security key was present.

Any thoughts?

#2 get rid of the red fonts! They are not easy to see in daylight!

#3 Include an hour meter in the motor diagnosis section. Better yet, keep track of cumulative motor output.

I think I saw a thread like this for the 2021 Turbo Levo, but haven’t seen a mission control wish list. Forgive me if I missed it. I am curious what other Mission Control users would like to see too.

#1 Bike immobilizer / disable motor via MC is definitely number one for me aswell, in the hopes that it will eventually become less desirable to steal a Specialized Ebike.

#2 Import Garmin/Strava/Komoot recorded rides into MC

#3 Ability to add new parts (like cassette, chain, breakpads) to a list and track their km in use for wear and tear.

I can see a key being useful, but not sure I'd want it tied to my phone. If my phone breaks or runs out of battery mid-ride I'd be pretty cranky, and both have happened to me. But a plain old fob you can keep in your pocket might be nice.

I agree, having it permanently tied to the phone probably wouldn't work very well, the connection is too unstable and if something happens to your phone, you are screwed.
I was thinking something more like, you manually activate the "lockdown" via MC after your ride, and then leave it like that, until next ride where you manually deactivate the lockdown via MC

Regarding the red on black font, one option is to use "high contrast" or "invert colors" or something like that depending on which phone you have. Those type options are usually under the accessibility options. That's not to say they shouldn't fix it, but might give you some options until they do.

My device is on dark mode but MC doesn’t change when I revert the screen to normal.

I would like to be able to turn off/on Smart control from the handlebar remote, perhaps with a press&hold of the Turbo button?

For example. I am using Smart Control in HR mode, and I am riding on the flat, but I come up to a short steep climb that needs a greater assist to make it up to the top of. Currently I have to either try it with very low assistance, or stop, take out my phone, open Mission Control and disable Smart Control.

With a press and hold of the Turbo button, I could toggle between Smart Control and conventional mode control. Press and hold the Turbo button for 2 seconds switched Smart Control off, confirmed by a long "Beeeeep", I can then toggle to the appropriate assistance using +/-. Then when I want to switch back to Smart Control, press and hold again "Beep, beep, beep" confirms I am in Smart Control mode once again.

That is a killer suggestion. A specialized Turbo button press would be a perfect Solution as that is what it is for in standard mode. I haven’t tried smart mode yet and didn’t know the trubo button didn’t work, I would have expected it would “a priori”. Your suggestion get my nomination for the most likely to succeed.

I would like the Turbo button to toggle on/off Factory Turbo. Then I could have a preset with its 3 modes one of which as an example is Turbo at 80/100 and able to get 100/100 as, if you like, a 4th mode.

I am curious what Heart Rate Monitors people are using. Is there a thread somewhere in EMTB?
