I have a new moterra SE with a 230*65 Super deluxe select but I don't like so much in this configuration! I want a more plush start feeling and more mid support so I read about the Megneg kit, It cost me only 90 euros (I'm Italian) but I have some doubts. Is it better to change completely the rear shock in the future and to collect money? The shocks in my list are the Superdeluxe coil ( With the only doubt about the progressivity of my bike ), the vivid air ( i Don't understand it is better or not to the super deluxe ..) and the DBair.
Please can you give me some help?

The megneg is excellent, but do not expect to just slap it on and expect miracles, it takes a LOT of back to back trial and error to get perfect.

Initially spring rate will be too soft, depending on how many negative volume bands are installed. Factor in another 20% more spring rate (air pressure)

Initial small bump compliance and midstroke support is very evident with the megneg. Bottom out is also improved so you will need to remove a spacer.

I test a lot of shocks, if you put a long stroke (65mm for instance) megnegged super deluxe on a bike without showing it to me, I would assume it was coil just on ride feel (until it hit the end stroke) Very impressive bit of gear and a worthwhile investment instead of a new shock.

Also look into the Vorsprung Tractive tune, but Initially just try the megneg and experiment.
