Max front travel on a Spectral:On?

I currently have the basic Lyrik 150mm forks on my Spectral:On 2021 and was going to upgrade them with the new 2.1 Damper and whilst I'm at it, upgrade the travel. The Lyrik can go up to 180mm but I was looking at 160 or 170mm.
I wondered if anyone has the specs anywhere that state the max warranteed travel? I know the Torque has 180mm and it's the same frame so I assume it shouldn't be an issue but I wanted to check?

Couldn't find anything official. I have the CF6 and upgraded my Yari to the 2.1 damper and 160mm air spring. This made a great bike even better. The 2.1 is amazing. Absolutely love this fork now.

Good to hear! I think I'm going to got 160mm as I think the new damper means the fork sits higher in the travel anyway so it'll be like getting a 20mm upgrade

I think a good rule of thumb to typically follow is no more than 20mm more travel than what the OEM offers stock. Going up 20mm will also slacken out the head angle 1 degree, and will also slacken out the seat angle at the same time.

Do you think 170mm from 150mm would be ok then? It's not like I NEED 170mm 90% of the time but it might be nice to have, given the motor negates the climbing issue.

Why limit yourself to 170mm?

when you can have

300mm

My recommendation would be to go to 160mm but I certainly don't think it would wreck the handling of the bike if you went to 170mm.
