It may be that I'm the last Levo owner to realize this. It certainly felt like a 'duh' moment when the epiphany hit.

My first motor removal / installation was done 2-3 years ago when I had a dirt cheap stand that didn't provide much range of adjustment. I did all the work with the bike in the tires-down orientation because there was no other option.

My current stand provides 360 degrees of head rotation, and teeth on the mating faces that lock in the head orientation. My 'duh' moment was realizing that installing the motor with the bike upside-down would probably be much easier. And it was!

No fighting gravity (gravity always wins!), and much better visibility. I can take my time to carefully route the hose, cable, and wires.

So if you're going to do any motor-out servicing, do yourself a favor and get a stand that has a 360 deg head and a feature to lock the head rotation.
