I think the magura instructions said “close the gap at the top”. I remember that made sense during the clamping process. (Keeps debris from getting in the top gap and allows debris or water to exit the bottom gap). Regardless I don’t fully tighten the bottom screw and allow the master cylinder and lever to rotate with hand pressure.…I couldn't remember if you're supposed to close the gap at the top or bottom, ……screws look like something you'd use to attach sheetrock to studs,
And if the Sheetrock on my ceiling starts to sag…I know magura screws can do the job…kinda .
