Lost a crank bolt and thank god for walk mode @_ Nant yr Arian Whyte-on :)

Out today and after a few laps on my 2023 Whyte E-160 RS MX , my crank comes off and could i find the bolt - nope.

Nant yr Arian good today , weather great. = Bike not so , Blame the bike not the idiot riding it

Its come loose before , re-torqued , but seems to come loose easily.

First time I used the walk mode - it kinda of works and made pushing the big old beast a bit easier back up.

Question is, is it a a standard M15 crank bolt or self extracting type, has std Whtye cranks - I can't remember ( Currently ) subject to post man coming hopefully today.

Apply some blue loctite on the new bolt whatever it turns out to be.

"Re-torquing" is not a thing.
Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling with the proper thread treatment is the way to go.

Yes got it , Loctite is the way to go and 50Nm
going to Use Loctite 243 as I have a 250ml bottle of it , Thank you work
It is std crank bolt, checked the other side

Do not put any locktite to ISIS bolt, instead use grease or anti seize grease to get it tightened to the correct torque.

I don't dare call it retorquing but putting a wrench on key bolts before a ride isnt the dumbest thing to do. Finding a loose bolt at home is way more convenient than finding it out on the trail.

yea I check my bolts every so often, not enough force to break any seal but enough to know if they are coming loose

As before said here, have tell tales on our crank bolts (wife's nail polish/varnish). This is her Rail.
