Like the title says, I am looking for a Husqvarna emtb HC7, 8 or 9 in a medium. I have called or emailed every dealer on the Husky site in the mid west. Just wondering on the off chance someone here could possibly help.

I don't believe the HC8 is being brought into North America.

I put together a HC9 last saturday, great bike but it drives me crazy that they spec'd it with the 11spd XT Di2 electric shifting setup. The shifter doesn't setup well on the bars with the new XT M-8120 brakes, if you don't run the brakes right up against the grips the shifter is either too close or too far away. And I can't imagine that setup was cheaper for them to buy compared to a standard 12spd XT derailleur, XT shifter and a deore M6100 cassette.

Thanks guys for the information. Yeah, it seems odd that the cockpit would be so crowded with the wireless set up.

I will try to call the dealer....and Fator's are sold out of mediums. One XL in stock. The search continues....

It's because the XT Di2 shifter was never designed to integrate with the newer style XT brakes. So you have to run the shifter either to the left of the brake or to the right of the brake, not in the middle part as there's not enough room for clearance. If you ran it to the right of the brake which would allow you to move the brake lever into a more comfortable position the shift paddles would overlap with the grips and I could easily see you hitting them with your thumb knuckle by mistake.

If you run it to the left of the brake the and had the brake lever set to a normal position the shifter would then be super far away from the grip.
Like I said its super annoying....lol
