What’s up guys? I’m a long time reader and finally made a profile so I can be more involved and contribute to the community as well.

I don’t actually have an eMTB yet, but I’m looking to get a Pole Voima some time this coming spring. If anyone is in western Colorado, hit me up! I’ll definitely be looking for other eMTB riders to team up and ride with.

Thanks yo! Looks like a mighty steed. Currently trying to decide which dual crown I wanna put on it and whether to go with an EXT e-storia or the Arma.
I went for Arma. It's cheaper has adjustable hbo and why the hell does anyone need a lock out on an e-bike? I wouldn't waste the extra money on a storia. It doesnt bring anything extra to the party.

As far as triple v single crown. If you are all dh and big chunk then i would say triple clamp. But if are are riding enduro tracks and normal bike park then the 190 zeb ultimate is damn capable. The Voima has a pretty fat headtube. So turn circle will be reduce on a triple. That wouldn't matter if you aren't riding real tight stuff. But if you are... it could be an issue. I ride some tight stuff and have tapped out triples before.

Lastly, voima is not light, Slapping a triple on will get you into 26-27kg range.

Here's me smashing the local nuts like on the voima. To give you context, the drops are betwee 10 and 14 foot and the bigger gap jumps are 7-8 meters. Zeb handles that shit easily.

In western Colorado most of our trails are wide open, chunky, and fast. So tight switchbacks are rare for sure. Were you able to get through all your 190mm of travel on that trail? I’ve heard 190mm single crowns (Zeb and Era LT) tend to be really progressive and tough to use all the travel on. It would be nice to save some weight though.

Do you know how those running a DC fork are adding bumpers to protect the frame in the event of a crash or tight turn?

The first big drop is pretty harsh landing. Its my datum drop to set up my suspension. I set it up to soft bottom or had a few mm of travel left off that drop depending on how deep i send it.

I'm 80kg kitted up and am running 2 volume spacers and around 60psi. General riding I use about 80% travel and then have another 20% available for when i hit the big stuff.

I borrowed a Voima for a test ride with fox 40's on it. It has the standard fox bumpers on it.

Thanks for the advice man! Now I gotta contemplate DC or single crown again. Haha

I think I’m planning on swapping to a 500wh battery too to save a couple lbs as my schedule usually doesn’t allow for all day epics.
