These past few weeks have tested my Levo love to the max
We've been close to divorce
Their faults are well known and got me thinking why I bought one in the first place

Spesh have , justifiably ,had a bashing on here recently - by myself included
So whilst pondering the folly of my purchase I started compiling a positives list to help me process my purchasing decision

I was pleasantly surprised.
Interested in others thoughts, positive only , need to balance the Karma

I'll kick things off in no particular order -

1.The ride
2.Geometry
3.Flip chip to tweak geometry
4.Can play with wheel sizes
5.I'm currently Mullet and luv it
6.700w battery = increased range
7.Powerful motor which decouples
8.Can deristrict
9.Visible mode and battery level indicator
10.Has 160mm dropper post
11.Seat can drop right down due to above
12.Colour
13.Looks
14.Dealer support
15.Can tweak fork to 160mm without to much drama
16.Can fit a 55mm stroke shock and get 157mm rear travel
17.Can fit wide tyres if req
18.Neat Battery integration
19.Warranty extended to 4yrs on some models

Anything else ?
Pics always help rekindle the luv

Here's mine

Rekindling this thread which had Zero feedback last year , surely there must be some Levo and Kenevo luv out there ?

I'm going to add the 4 yr warranty on my 2019 model to the list

I know most of us have had issues but Yin and Yang needs to be addressed ?

Positive vibes only please ?

2020 levo comp and love it. Had it just under a year

no issues yet. But if I do I’m confident it’ll get sorted. 4 year warranty is a huge bonus!

Cant wait for lockdown to lift and get to loads of new places on it ????

By far the best value for money v enjoyment hobby / toy whatever you want to call it purchase I’ve made!

Edit as didn’t actually list anything ?

700w batt range is awesome and main reason I got it.

rides grea

Looks

Integration and battery being totally concealed

makes me want to ride more in all conditions which is only a good thing ??

I love my Kenevo because despite being a Muppet, it lets me ride anywhere I want in (relative) safety - it's me, not the bike which causes issues otherwise.

In about 3000 miles of 95% off road, mainly downhill hammering (sometimes with me still on the bike) I've not had a single problem.

It's been crashed into so many rocks, tumbled and bounced down so many cliffs, sculpted so many trees .... and it just doesn't break.

I've even ridden it submerged for 200 meters ... and it still works (Don't try this at home folks) !

Like Starbug, I think it's made from the same stuff as childrens dolls.

Thanks Jimbo , that's exactly the sort of comment that helps me realize I wasn't a total Muppet when I bought mine

Cheers Zim , Spesh must be doing something right if yours has survived that sort of abuse
Are you sure it's not another brand Re - badged ? ?

I am fairly new to the Levo world I have Owned one since only October I think for me the best thing was

“ease of modification with the help of people on this forum “

since I got it I have changed

fork to lyrik 160 ulitmate
Shock to ohlins ttx 55 stroke
Brakes to Magura mt7 with bigger diskx
Rental bar and stem
XX1 transmission

it’s a completely different ride to what it was when I purchased it , spend hours on it

totally love the bike

Here’s mine as it is today. Totally standard.

mods planned

new brakes
160mm forks upgraded (undecided fox or rockshox)
New shock as above
And I’d like the new sram gx axs but think it’s just in 12 speed at mo.

Dont see much reason to change then.

I’m still pretty smug I got it on cycle scheme so big savings but let’s not talk prices here!!! ?

Bought my Levo 2020 Comp based upon zero proper research, zero knowledge, zero experience of MTB and purely because read it was a good brand and I had a local-ish LBS in both locations that I spend most of my time. One of them had one in stock at the end of Lockdown 1.

I probably would not have bought one if Ihad found & listened to the persistent whining on here from some.

10 months and 3200+ kms later :-
No problems with bike, battery or motor
A 4-year warranty now which was originally 2 ( and 2 is plenty)
I have abused it in places and ways that I could never dream possible 10 months ago
It has been exposed to every kind of numpty 'learner' error you can imagine
I have never 'out-ridden' 1 battery charge and wanted more in one day.
I have done somersaults , 180s , sideways rolls and other advanced tricks that the greatest riders can not do ( in other words I crash a lot)
I fell off a path by a small river and the bike and I got soaked.
I do now look after the electrical connections pretty well with moisture preventers but apart from that most of my maintenance efforts do as much harm as good .

Yes, I can genuinely say it has changed my life for the better -- the only good thing to come of of COVID afaics.

Nice looking Levo , can I ask where did you get the stem cap Garmin mount ?
Thanks , Garmin cap came from Chain Reaction
Inserts are about a fiver and every time I involuntarily dismounted , my knee would catch the Garmin and break the insert ?
After the third one broke , ( yes I have been known to disembark more than @Zimmerframe ) I sourced some inserts from China for about £2 each , so I bought a dozen . No noticeable quality difference.
I expect CRS got them from there as well and rinsed me for the their trouble ?
Also , I have changed the mount to one that sits further forward but is still attached to th stem top cap
Problem solved , haven't broken one since buying a stockpile , typical

I'll take a picture and post it later

On reflection I think I'm not such a prolific crasher / wrecker

Some pics of Garmin mount I'm currently using. The Garmin sits further forward and is less likely to get knocked off .
Also means I can fit a Swat tool or similar in the steerer tube
Ive attached a lanyard to the silicon skin of the Garmin , this takes seconds to attach to the handlebars and has saved me loosing the Garmin into the undergrowth dozens of times

I'm going for @Zimmerframe record of most pics per post
What is the current record incedentally ?
Asking for a friend ?
