What do you guys think of the value? Personally not looking for a bike, but for someone looking to get into emtb'ing on a budget, should they even consider? Should Lidl release a version in the Lidl vibrant colour scheme?

Not bad at a glance, but no idea how the motor behaves.

Long-term might be tricky getting support if the motor has problems.

You'd theoretically want to add a dropper-post and upgrade the fork.


At least in my part of the world at the moment if you shop around, for the same price or a little more you can pick up a brand-name e-hardtail with a Bosch motor. Which I'd probably recommend over the Lidl offer.
