Wel I’ve put a hole in my SL motor cover. Luckly the motor is ok. Is there an aftermarket one available? Preferably one made out of carbon. But any material will do.

Just bumping this thread. Just got levo SL and wondering whether to invest in a bash guard and if so which one?

My bash guard is toast. Cracked on the edge where the side meets the bottom and a puncture on the other side. Guess it’s from rocks flying up off the wheel as I can’t think of any times that I’ve got that area on technical trails. Just ordered a new one from the shop and a rockguardz. The other option someone posted here is 3/4 of a pound and seems kinda heavy after spending 3k on wheels, fork and pretty much every other part.

Word of warning on the RockGuardZ I received mine the other day and boy ??I seriously thought it was a joke or sent out buy mistake the build of these was disappointing to say the least also customer care is very poor.
I’ve gone for an aluminium one off eBay now ??

The photos don’t even show how bad they really are but you can get the idea from them

I got my stainless steel one from Pedalhounds.

Perfect fit and looks as though it could have come from factory like it..

i have the rockguardz on my levo, i think it's meant to be sacraficial, take gouges
the pedalhounds one looks stronger like for a moto

I have also a Rockguardz on my SL and so fare it does what it should do.

My rockguardz came in. Clearly made by hand. Not the prettiest thing but seems to fit well. Need to go pick up my new rock guard (that’s what specialized calls the motor cover) and I’ll bolt it up.

You need a steel one for protection.... Specialized Levo SL Motor Guard – Pedalhounds

carbonfibre will crack on a an impact. Looks nice though, and is lightweight.

Pedalhounds is out of stock, new stock arriving soon. Looks like a perfect place for a sticker....hopefully they ship internationally. I've bashed the plastic one into a fair amount of rocks so far at it'll likely end up destroyed sooner than later. I've been wondering what to replace it with.

Any other options out there?
