Hi all sorry if that has already been covered.

what’s the max width people have fitted to Levo sl? I’m looking at some Michelin E-Gum 29” 2.6

should there be enough clearance for these?

also- has anyone been able to get a power supply from the SL to power a GPS tracker?

Because I have maxxis dhrII 2.4 and I can imagine how close to chainstays bridge the Michelin 2.6 (which I had on previous bike, and are bigger than the dhrII 2.4) will be.

^^ Thanks.

Here's a Maxxis Rekon 29x2.6 (i36 rim) on a Comp Carbon SL. The tire measures a true 2.6" at the knobs and casing.
Clearance measurements measurements were made by inserting a hex key in the gaps.

seatstay cross-bridge has ~7mm clearance

chainstays have >10mm clearance

mudflap/chainstay bridge has ~6mm clearance

Note that full compression of the shock moves the 2.6 tire to within ~2-3mm of the mud flap.
The Rekon knobs aren't very tall, so a tire with bigger knobs would have less clearance.

Another issue is that the taller tire raises an already high bottom bracket.
