I’m building up a Gen 2 Levo SL from a frameset. I have all the parts, but only have 180mm forks, which I’m hesitant to use. I’m wondering if anyone has over-forked their Levo SL to 180 or 170 and how it went? If so, what configuration of wheel size/flip chips worked best?

I put an EXT ERA 170 on my sl. It has an Axle to crown that is 582mm verses 590 on the Fox38 170 or 571 on the original fox36. I have it set with a mullet, low bb and 0 degrees in the headset. works great.

I was going to ask where you found a frame but then I realised you’re in Australia, we still have none in the UK with no updates arrival times.

Nice. Thanks for the info. I’m going with a 170mm Fox 38. I’ll let you know how it feels after my first couple of rides.

The 38 is more stiff. I picked the 38 so I can abuse my KSL2 in the bike park as well.

It is the descending power of my bike that gets me going, not the weight. And the 38 is much more stiff than a 36. And the 300grams is not that much weight...
