23.5kg, is that a joke, for 14000euro? This wight you can buy for 8000euro, or dji for 6500euro 21kg give me a reason where this is justified to buy?
Maybe not the bike for you? But 14000 is the high end and not the low end. Also, throwing the weights of bikes around is meaningless with out comparing specs and components.

Given this release of this modular battery full powered levo, what’s speshy’s plan on an SL update? Guessing/hoping that could get a bump in power/torque and come in 20 kilos or possibly sub 20? Or would one just build this out with a 36, faster tires, lighter battery at lower power output?

That photo is ancient history, it goes way back to the old forum ;)

Why does the Levo S-Works with 600Wh weigh about 1Kg more than the Vala XX?
Is it just because the battery is removable on the Specialized?
And the increased weight associated with that?

I saw the blue SWORKS with new wireless Reverb instead of wireless Fox. Is it optionnal ? Any chance that Pro model is fitted with Reverb ?

If the Revolutionary feature is having a main battery and a secondary battery option in frame, that's not new,

The Fulgur Mula had that 4 years ago.

I’ve only seen those in Berkshire cycles but sounds interesting

I remember this bike now it is actually pretty solid, the Polini motor is suposedly pretty good also and completely repairable, unfortunately the brand it's a small player and hardly any shops if any have the bike for sale at , no local support is no go, at least for me.

Industry standard for 52v systems is 14 cells in series, 48v = 13 cells, and the gen 3 levo which I have is 36v and has 10 cells in series per group.
Has nothing to do with motor load.
Different discharge rates on cells and capacity (ahr rating ) is how they are classified.
Higher voltage equals lower amperage for the same wattage output.

Highest rating for 18650 cells is 3.5ahr.
Highest rating for 21700 cells with the “new” Samsung 58E cell is 5.5ahr rating, previous max for their 50Ecell was 5ahr. They’re probably going to continuously rate it at 5.8 ahr but testing doesn’t support this but marketing is what it is. Just sayin.

As far as the 840w battery not being possible I gotta disagree.
840 ÷ by 48v = 17.5
Using 1850 cells rated at 3.5ahr would need 13s5p which is 75 cells at 48gr = 3600 grams.
Using 21700 cells rated at 5.8 ahr rating would use 13s3p which are 39 cells at 68.7gr = 2679.3grams.
Battery manufacturers a lot of times round “up” when rating their products.

I have an aftermarket extender battery ( trailwatts ) on my Levo and it’s rated at 252w meaning it’s a 10s2p configuration but I can only use it in parallel with the main battery and it measures in at 3”x7.5” and fits where the water bottle cage is and that’s with the shock strut. So eliminating the strut should allow a 280w battery to fit easily.

Not sure about your guys standard 4a chargers which is common but mine gets hotter than sh-t when charging. Supposedly that’s normal.
Looking at the pics of the “new” charger with the fast charge capability it doesn’t look
Iike there is a cooling fan or anything to help disapate the additional heat from the increased charging current. So that will be interesting to see how they handle that issue.

My salesman told me you can "make an SL by using the 280 battery only" eand you get all 3 batteries with S-Works order

Wow, that would be amazing! I don't see the alternate 600w, or range extender listed on the bike spec sheet for S-Works, so I am skeptical of your salesman. Also, the range extender is 240W not 280W. I hope he is right.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I think if one wanted to go the SL route and just use the 280 - wouldn’t you want the smaller motor not in the works? It’s “20% smaller”. Does “smaller” = lighter? (Insert spinal tap “but does it go to 11?” here).

I think 20% smaller is just the brose peak (or spesh 3.1 version) compared to the mag s
